48 heures en patrouille

12:00	After having enjoyed our days off, we take our shift in the Center of Blécherette (State Police Headquarters). We take over from Ricket and Sergio, who pass on to us the common current business cases.
12:15	Then, we participate to the briefing of the unity of intervention of the CIR-Lausanne which is going to make the same shift as us. The Chief of the unity reports the last informations about the evolution and the current tendency of the crime.

12:30	In the term of the briefing, we equip our patrol car and are henceforth ready to respond to emergency calls on the whole State.

13:00	We noticed that fairly of complaints for thefts committed in cars parked on large parkings were registered in the daytime of sunny weekends. In this radiant afternoon of Friday, we decide to make a surveillance on the parking of a very frequented swimming pool.
13:17	As we just were in place, the radio begins sizzling and the Operation and Transmission Center announces that an aggression alarm has just started in a local bank.
	At once on the scene, we take position around the banking institution. We were joined by two patrols of the CIR-Lausanne. A bit further, the manager of the bank learns us that it is a false alarm activated by a wrong manipulation during the opening of desks. However, by experience of consciousness, we proceed to a full check of premises. All is ok.
14:30	While we ended our intervention, the Operation and Transmission Center asks us to participate to the searches for a rider having disappeared in the forest. Indeed, her horse returned alone in the stable and nobody knows where is the girl who were riding it... After intense researches, we found Nathalie, who was slept on the back, conscious, but with the right leg broken.

	Nathalie was carried to the CHUV (State Hospital) by the helicopter of the REGA (Swiss Rescue).
16:30	Finally free, we decided to keep our surveillance on the famous parking of the swimming pool.
16:34	No luck again. The Operation and Transmission Center sends to us to a small village where a young boy lost his glasses in a kindling by returning of the school. In tears, little Orlando told us that on the way from the school, he stopped to play with his friends in a small forest. But, back home, he noticed that he had lost his medical glasses.

	We then redid the route with the kid and BINGO, our K-9 partner suddenly went down on the dead leaves. In front of him were Orlando's glasses. Tears were fast transformed into a wide smile and the dog had the right to many caresses and candies...
18:30	The drug squad has just arrested a drug dealer in full action in a bus station. The inspectors wish to make a search in the appartment of this young dealer. In the appartment in question, our companion went at once to a cupboard and begins scratching firmly towards in the back Bingo! In this furniture, we discover 670 grams of heroine and 10 grams of cocaine.

	Then, in a small chest of drawers, our K-9 partner is again going to discover packagings intended for the conditioning of the drug and a balance. In a mattress, our faithful friend finally marked a saltbox in which was hidden CHF 15 ' 960.- (US$ 10'000.-).
19:30	Here we are, this is the end of our first shift. Sergio and Ricket are there again, ready to resume the torch. We explain them our events of the afternoon and resign of them, but not for for a long time...
